7 of my favourite creator accounts
Social media can be a wonderful place full of inspiration. We thought we’d take a couple of weeks and highlight a few content creators online that inspire us every day. There are obviously so many we could go on forever, but there are a few that I wanted to highlight that I am particularly enjoying these days!
Briony (Instagram)
I have been a fan of Briony for a long time. Starting out as a photography account, Briony has now transitioned fully into artist mode and she also does some incredible large-scale art installations. Her brand photography work is super unique and campy so it’s very memorable. Her art installations often have a social impact element to them as she frequently uses recycled materials to make a statement such as the massive Adidas shoe made out of recycled bottle caps or the large whale made out of recycling that was to shed light on how pollution is affecting our oceans. Here are a couple of shots from her Instagram!
_fridaythings (Instagram)
Stacy Lee Kong is no stranger to content creation. With a background in journalism she launched Friday Things as a platform for regular pop culture content. It’s not just about staying up to date with the latest gossip from Hollywood, which is why I appreciate her content. Her candid analysis of situations makes you think deeper than the surface vanity as she explores themes of racism, sexism, and other issues facing the industry.
Honeyboom1015 (Instagram)
If you’re looking for a dose of body positivity mixed in with some motivating fitness content and bit of humour, then this is the account for you. She calls out the comments and perspectives from people who think there is no place for her as an athlete because of her body type. It’s hard to see her content without getting a big hyped up!
I often feel like she’s speaking directly to things that I am feeling, which is the mark of a great content creator online. I also appreciate that she doesn’t take herself too seriously all the time.
Taryndelaniesmith (Instagram)
Taryn Delanie is a former Miss New York (2022) and not only is she gorgeous, but she’s hilarious. She started making videos as a receptionist in Heaven and it’s honestly one of the funniest things I have seen in a while. It’s no wonder people are calling for an official online series from her. Definitely worth checking out if you want a good laugh!
Bonus: She has the cutest Great Dane named Bruce!
Gaycraftingleague (Instagram)
Just because you’re new to the game doesn’t mean it’s not worth a follow! Gay Crafting League launched a short time ago, but their content is hilarious. We’ve talked about them before on our Instagram, but they really don’t take life too seriously and just want everyone to enjoy crafting. And we’re not talking about crafting that is inaccessible to people without a certain set of skills – it is for EVERYONE. Inclusive crafting. While their content sometimes comes in batches, it’s worth a follow just to see how they may use googly eyes next…
Naheedd (Instagram)
While I enjoy great humorous content, sometimes you need people to tell it straight when it comes to major issues. Dr. Naheed Dosani is a health justice activist and Palliative care physician in the GTA. He has been very outspoken on issues surrounding healthcare – particularly throughout the pandemic. His passion for what he does is clear and I respect someone who doesn’t mince words when it comes to fighting for those who are less fortunate or who don’t have a strong enough voice of their own.

Surprise! It’s a nail art account! This artist is INCREDIBLE. I aspire to one day try stiletto nails, but for now I can get my fill looking at these amazing creations. Some of the ideas here are so creative that even if you’re not into nail art you’ll be blown away. Check out some of my favourite designs from her Instagram!
What about you? What content creators are you enjoying these days?
