Top tools to streamline your marketing strategy this year

Every new year people look for ways to level themselves up - vision boards, new habits, resolutions, and more. But what about leveling up your marketing by streamlining your marketing strategy?

Let’s take a look at the top tools to streamline your marketing strategy in 2025!

I’m going to start with two of my favourites at the moment.

Canva

In a perfect world maybe you would have the budget to work with a rockstar team that helps photograph, edit, and produce incredible visuals, but you might not be there… yet. And that’s ok! You can create quality, dynamic, and engaging content with the help of Canva! Canva is a graphic design tool that enables you to create social media posts, posters, and much more.

Canva offers a variety of images, videos, audio, and more to help you create your desired designs. Don’t have a great eye for design? That’s ok too, because they also offer countless easy to use templates. While Canva is free to use, you definitely get a lot more options through the paid version, including more features, images, videos, templates, and more.

What I also love about Canva is that, unlike some tools, it’s super easy to use. With a little practice, you’re sure to get the hang of designing on it.

We encourage you to sign up for a free account and start playing around to familiarize yourself with it  - you can always decide later if you want to invest in the paid version.

Later

Using a social media management platform, in my opinion, just makes things so much easier, which made this pick a no brainer for me. Did I mention that they are helpful in a variety of ways?

  • Scheduling - With the help of a social media management platform you can schedule your posts so that they either post automatically on your socials, or so that you receive a notification to post them at a specific time.  This is helpful because it allows you to optimize your time, you can create and schedule content in batches ahead of time, so that you stay consistent.

  • Analytics -  Some analytics are also available through Later, which can help you review your progress and so that you can review what might work and what might not.

  • Blog - Later also has a blog that is updated regularly with top trends to try and helpful guides.

Last year, Later also acquired Mavely, an influencer marketing platform which enables brands to more easily find creators to collaborate with and more.

Those are my current favs but here’s another that can help you streamline your marketing this year.

Google Alerts

Staying on top of what’s being said all over the internet about your brand (or even your client - if you’re a marketing pro… or aspiring one) can take up a lot of time, but it doesn’t necessarily have to. You can choose specific keywords to follow (like your business name) and Google will send you an email to alert you of any mentions, making it easier to stay on top of important news and mentions.
